NATHAN E. KITTRELL ~ East Pembroke

Age 62, died Sunday evening October 15, 2017 at home under the care of Hospice and his loving family. He was born October 28, 1954 in Roanoke Rapids, NC a son of the late Kenneth H. Kittrell and the late Mary F. Saunders. He was preceded in death by siblings, Ricky Dale Kittrell, Michael Kittrell, Linda Varvel and Debbie Jeffries. 

Nate was a union iron worker for many years in North Carolina before moving up to New York a few years back. He was a true outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, an avid sports fan, especially the North Carolina Tar Heels and NASCAR, his favorite driver, Tony Stewart. Nate had a love for holidays, Christmas being his favorite and will be remembered for his "gift of gab", he loved to talk if someone would listen.           

Surviving are his sons, Paul A. of NC, Levi W. of PA; siblings, Elaine (Don) Newton of East Pembroke, Donnie (Al) Rogers of FL, Kay Carmichael of NC; step-mother, Lucille Brown of NC; grandchildren, Willow Elaine and Chloe Kittrell; dear friends, Ray Chatt, Jimmy Perry & Mary Ann Chatley along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces-nephews, cousins and friends. 

Nate's family will be present from 4-8pm on Friday October 20, 2017 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATON CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where funeral services will be held 10:30am Saturday October 21. He will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery, East Pembroke and memorials in his memory are suggested to High Point Community Church 1163 Main Road Corfu, New York 14036.
