Frank L. Way, 75 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 25, 2015 at his home in Batavia. He was born on May 20, 1940 in Morrisdale, PA to the late Robert J. (Rose Mattsock) Way. He is preceded in death by his Brothers Peter and Roy “Kenny” Way.

Mr. Way was retired from the City of Batavia Fire Department where he was a fireman for 23 years. He was a singer in the band Frankie & the Heartbreakers and recorded a record with them. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, bowling, football and baseball fantasy leagues and cash words. Most important to Frank was his family who he loved.

He is survived by his children Lornie Way of Elba, Frank D. Way of Batavia and Darlene Dorman of Albion; brothers Robert, George, Alvis, Alvin (Regina) Way sisters Violet Torcello, Sandy Strobele, Cindy (Roger) Morgan, close friend Fran Way of Batavia; 5 Grandchildren Jason, Brian and Melissa Dorman, Tyler Way and Ashley Suttell along with many nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held privately.
