Jean Theresa Bonadonna

Jean Theresa Bonadonna, 88,of Rochester, earned her wings on Saturday April 21, 2018 surrounded by the endless love of her family. She was born on June 21, 1929 in Perry, to the late Roman and Julia Rajnisz. She is predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

Jean grew up in Perry and spent the first 63 years of her life there. She graduated from Perry High School in 1947 and married the love of her life, the late Anthony Bonadonna, in 1950. Together they raised three devoted children. Jean was active in her community and in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The greatest joy of her life was her family.

Jean had many interests and talents, among them, cooking, entertaining, reading, gardening, knitting, refinishing antiques, crossword puzzles, game shows, traveling, and keeping up with her many friends. She enjoyed the 11 years she spent as a hostess at Cracker Barrel.

She is survived by her children, Rick, Julie and Marc Bonadonna; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Abbey, McKenzie, Christopher and Marissa; five great-grandchildren, Isaac, Grace, Caleb, Addison and Layla, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Mass and Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
