John L. "Jack" Carney

LeRoy / Pavilion ~ John L. "Jack" Carney, age 23, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday (November 10, 2018). 

    

He was born January 26, 1995 in Batavia, a son of Donald Carney and Mary Lynn Starr Cowell.

     Jack was a very kind and loving person, who enjoyed being with family and friends.  He had a hard work ethic and loved his job.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, traveling, baseball and soccer, however, hunting was one of his passions.  At age 14, Jack was able to get his first buck and set a New York State record.

     He will be sadly missed by his parents, Donald and Mary; his siblings, Elizabeth (RJ) Mills, Ashley (Dave) Clark, Christine (Adam Zuch) Cowell, Stefanie Carney, Rebecca Cowell and Joseph Carney; girlfriend, Morgan DeWitt; paternal grandmother, Laura Mae Carney; maternal grandmother, Deborah Starr; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Wellman, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

     He was predeceased by his grandfathers, John Carney and James Starr.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 1 ~ 3 and 5 ~ 7 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held on December 15 at 2:00 P.M. at BW's Restaurant, 11070 Perry Rd., Pavilion.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jack may be made to his family.
