LOREEN MAY TYMINSKI

LOREEN MAY TYMINSKI ~ Age 85, of Stafford, died peacefully Monday evening March 25, 2019 at her home under the care of Hospice and her loving family. Born in Batavia, NY on July 2, 1933, a daughter of the late Lester and Maude (Butler) Lyman; also preceded in death by sister, Doris Weller.


Loreen worked for Niagara Mohawk and the Batavia VA Hospital along with assisting on the family farm. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening and animals, especially her dogs and cats. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and for her strong Catholic faith.


She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Henry V. Tyminski of Stafford; loving children, Henry L. Tyminski and John Tyminksi both of Stafford and Karen (Robert) Tennessee of Elba; sister, Eleanor Hicks of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews.

The Tyminski family will be present from 4-6pm on Thursday March 28, 2019 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, NY 14020. Please join the family to celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial 11:30a.m. Friday March 29 at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary’s Site), she will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her memory to a charity of choice.
