Jack Roy Brown, August 9, 2015, age 88, beloved husband of the late Loretta (nee Laney); dearest father of Virginia, Mark (Sandra), Peter (Dianne), Patrick (Maura), Scott (Jean Peca), Lindsey (EJ.) Martin, and the late Larry; loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 6 great-granddaughters; dear brother of Betty (late Walter) Baumgarten and the late Christine (Russel) Hoffman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial calling hours at the Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville, NY on Wednesday 4-8 PM. Memorial Mass at St. Gregory The Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville, NY Thursday at 10:30 AM. 
Born July 30, 1927 in Buffalo, NY to Roy B. and Violet P. Brown. He attended Seneca Vocational High School and graduated in 1945; enlisted in the Army and served from 1945-46. Jack worked at Niagara Mohawk from 1950 to1987; he was a draftsman, electrical planner, Planning Manager and Assistant Superintendent of T&D. 
Jack was associated with the Greater Niagara Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America for 53 years and held the positions of Scoutmaster Troop #299, member of the Executive Board, Regional Coordinator of COPE Inspectors, Chairman of the Council Properties Committee, and Staff at National Camp School; he was instrumental in the design and construction of the COPE Course at the Schoellkopf Scout Reservation in Cowlesville, NY. He was also a member of the St. Pius X Council # 11168, Knights of Columbus and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a resident of the Amberleigh Community in Williamsville, NY and was very active in promoting resident participation in a variety of activities. His lifelong interests included photography, woodworking, woodcarving, leather craft, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Flowers gratefully declined.
