JEANNETTE "TAMI" R. NOACK

- Jeannette “Tami” R. Noack, 73, went to be with Lord on August 11, 2015 at home, under the loving care of family, friends and Hospice Care.  Her death followed a brief illness.

Mrs. Noack was born September 30, 1941 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Slusar Tamila.

She was a member of Resurrection Parish- St. Mary's Church, Horseshoe Lake Association, Suncatchers Club and was the former children’s librarian at Haxton Memorial Library in Oakfield.

She is survived by her husband, Norman J. Noack, Sr. whom she married June 24, 1964.

Survivors include one son, Norman J. (Laurie) Noack, Jr. of Batavia; two daughters, Christine (Larry) Gibson of Albion and  Kimberly (Scott) Gibson of Oakfield; grandchildren, Chad, Zachery, Garrett, Mark and  Erica Gibson and her devoted 4 legged friends, Jake, Trinkett and Rascal.

For many years Jeannette and her husband operated the family business, Noack’s Greenhouse in Batavia.  Besides enjoying time with her family, she liked reading, knitting, needlepointing, fishing, gardening and sitting in her sunroom overlooking Horseshoe Lake.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co, Inc., 403 East Main St., Batavia.  Her funeral Mass will be at 9:30 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Resurrection Parish - St. Mary's Church, 18 Ellicott Street, Batavia. Following her Mass there will be a reception in the Church Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family for future distribution to their favorite charities.
