Loretta M. Prusak, 89 of Attica, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, Warsaw. She was born January 6, 1931 in Strykersville, to the late Lavern (Loraine Reisdorf) Schlitz. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene J. Prusak, siblings Lavern, Larry, Leslie Schiltz; Leona McCormick, Luella Eckert, Lorma Barker.

Mrs. Prusak was a longtime member of Sts. Joachim & Anne Parish, Catholic Daughters and honorary member of Attica Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for many years at Super Duper in Attica. Mrs. Prusak was very active with the Wyoming County Senior Citizens, she enjoyed playing cards, word search, Yahtzee, baking and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Her family always came first, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children John (Chris) Prusak; James (Denise) Prusak; Ann (Doug) Post all of Attica; Susan (Phil) Ulm of Wyoming; siblings Leon Schiltz of Holland, NY; Lynn (Daryle) Schiltz of Colden; sister-in-law Sharon Schiltz of Perry; 9 grandchildren Randi (Brian), Justin (Jen), Joshua (Deanna), James (Megan) Jr., Alexis (Trenton), Aaron (Renee), Courtney, Valerie, Jarrod,  and 2 great-grandchildren Austin and Makayla, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday March 17, 2020 from 2-4 PM & 6-8PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the immediate family only. She will be laid to rest in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Attica.
