Marjorie Roblee, 91, of Pavilion passed away peacefully at Village Green Nursing Home in LeRoy on August 17, 2015. Steadfast yet gentle, Marge touched the lives of many. Born in Oakfield, September 2, 1923 to the late Alvin and Susie Schultz and is predeceased by husband Wayne E. Roblee, and daughter Suzanne (Gene) Peters of Bethany Center. She is also survived by sons Douglas (Pat) Roblee of Leicester, Jim (Karen Oswald) Roblee of Mt. Morris; daughters Brenda (Ed) Embrey of Hilton and Kathryn of LeRoy. In addition there are several grandchildren, Wendy Boni, Carol Stoneham, Karen Peters, Andrea Farruggia, John Roblee, Tom Roblee, Terry Roblee, Sarah Embrey, Renae Embrey, and Holly Embrey, 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Marge is also survived by her sister Jane (Frank) Sidari of Albion and sister-in-law Barbara (Robert) Schultz of Elba. Pre-deceased siblings include Robert, Doris (Don) Wyckoff, and Betty (Fred) Herman; brother-in-law John Bliestein of Sandusky.

Many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family will recall lessons learned by example from this strong woman.

Her interests included activities at the Batavia Senior Center, and Marge was very fond of neighbors and friends. In Batavia, she adored her friends at the Senior Quilters group, Knit and Crochet group, Senior Volunteers, and enjoyable bus trips with others. She was an outstanding euchre player, and played other card games with friends. She was active in the Pavilion Young at Heart Group and the Transit Ladies Club.

Through the years, she worked on the muck, Batavia Shoe Factory, Curtiss Wright Aircraft, Union Steel Chest and Chapin Manufacturing. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A 1:00 PM Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday August 22, 2015 at the Pavilion Fire Hall Pavilion Fire Hall 11302 South Lake Road, Pavilion, NY 14525
