Allan Kenneth Blossom of South Byron, NY continued his journey on June 26, 2023. He was born 7/5/44 in Rochester, NY to Bristol and Eugenia (Welton) Blossom. He married his high school sweetheart, Mariellen (Todd) Blossom on 7/2/66.
Allan is also survived by his sisters Joanne Grape, and Jeanne (Rick) Avant. Daughter Christine (Ken White) and son Scott (Tonya) Blossom. Grandchildren Erica (David) Mohney, Taylor (Nathan) White, Alieda (John Parks) Blossom, Elizabeth (Christopher) Penkszyk and Amber (Matthew) Gillman. Great grandchildren Brielle, Damian, Johannes, Magnolia, Willow, Antonio and 2 more (Lily and Violet) this summer.
He was a life member of the South Byron Volunteer Fire Company and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. His interests included camping, model railroading, plastic canvas and became a fan of NASCAR, the Buffalo Bills and NY Mets.
The family would like to thank the staff and physicians at UMMC, Rochester General, Unity, and LeRoy Village Green for the care and comfort they gave to Allan over the past year.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at St. James Episcopal Church, 406 East Main Street, Batavia, NY. Following the service, a reception will be held at the South Byron Volunteer Fire Company at 7389 Rte 237, South Byron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the South Byron Volunteer Fire Company.
