Sybil Anne Galliford, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia. She was born July 5, 1947 in Erie, PA, to the late Lawrence F. and Margaret R. (Emling) Smith. 

Mrs. Galliford retired from Jackson School in Batavia, after teaching there for 34 years. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards with friends and traveling. 

She is survived by children, Lauren Alyce Galliford of Dumont, NJ, Matthew Scott (Megan Boring) Galliford of Batavia; siblings, Gail (Joe) Raziano of FL, twin sister Susan (Peter) Balonek of Elba, Leslie (Rito) Cordaro of Pavilion, David Smith of FL, grandchildren, Kerrigan and Carson Galliford, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours and services will be held privately for the family. She will be laid to rest in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba.
