Robert C. Pratt, 90, of Batavia passed away on September 1, 2015 at Genesee County Nursing Home. He was born on May 14, 1925 in Shelby, New York to the late Clark (Edna Scharlau) Pratt. He is preceded in death his brothers Harry and Glenn Pratt and sister Agnes Bauer.

Robert was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for General Motors in Tonawanda for 35 years. Robert was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Robert enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, water skiing, boating and go carts. Robert also enjoyed scratch offs and horse races. He was well liked and best known for his sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving wife Rose (Baker) Pratt; children Linda Pratt of Orchard Park, Peggy (Larry) Strohm of Attica, Gary (Sara) Pratt of Batavia; brother Donald (Diane) Pratt of Florida; sisters Marjory Wallace of CO, Hattie Mosher of Brockport; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Friday September 4, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. An 11:00 AM Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 5, 2015 at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery.
