Lillian Emerson, 97, of Batavia passed away on Thursday September 3, 2015 at Genesee County Nursing Home. She was born on September 23, 1917 in Buffalo, New York to the late Edward (Rose Managee) Kohler. She is preceded in death her husband Harold Emerson; brothers Edward and Norman Kohler; sisters Rose Benker, Ruth Cole and Mildred Dorsey.

Lillian worked at the Genesee County Nursing Home and Genesee County Home Care. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and the Unity Council #6 of Buffalo.

She is survived by her daughters Ethel Smith of Batavia, Linda (Dale) Camp of Adams, Carol (David) Allen of Batavia; brother Earl Kohler of PA; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda.
