Lillian Rorick, 89 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Friday September 11, 2015 at her home under Homecare & Hospice. She was born on January 2, 1926 in Springboro, PA, to the late Martin (Louise Gunser) Bilich. She is preceded in death her brothers Rudolph, Richard and William Bilich and Sisters Hilda Ryder and Irma Leffke.

Lillian worked for the Crown & Anchor Restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY for many years and she retired from the City of Batavia School System where she worked in food service for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, walking and shopping but what meant most to her was her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Edward Rorick of Batavia; children Paula (Harry) Wortzman of Batavia, David (Jenni) Rorick of Minnesota, Brother Carl Bilich of PA, and brother in law Robert Leffke of Batavia. 9 Grandchildren Alysia (David) Thibault, Ashley Yunke, Jamie Wortzman, LeAnna (Daniel) DiRisio, Stefan and Andrew Rorick, Eric (Darlene) Meidenbauer, Robert (Cindy) Meidenbauer, Lori Eady; 10 great-grandchildren Leo and Ryan Thibault, Vincent and Luciana DiRisio, Cara, William and Kassidy Meidenbauer, Randi Ellen, Rebekah and Nikita Eady, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday September 16, 2015 from 4 to 5 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A 5:00 PM Funeral Service will follow calling hours at the Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery.
