Jane D. Skomski

Jane D. Skomski, 94 of Lockport and formerly of Akron, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (July 3, 2018) at her residence.

She was born in Buffalo, NY on October 13, 1923, a daughter of the late William and Josephine Archambault Danz.

Mrs. Skomski was a Veteran of WW II where she served her country as a nurse with the U.S. Army Nursing Corps. She was then employed as a nurse for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Buffalo. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Parish in Akron.

She was the wife of the late Watson Skomski and sister of the late Lucille Riley.

Survivors include her son, Michael (Tammy) Skomski of Lockport. Daugther, Mary Anne (Gordon) Skomski-Bellinger of Pendleton. Niece, Victoria Nelson.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Akron, NY.

BRYANT WYDER

BRYANT WYDER ~ Age 64, of Basom, who lived by the motto, A man should only have two things in his life, "A Backhoe and A Microwave", died at Buffalo General Hospital Tuesday July 3, 2018. He was born September 6, 1953 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late Stephen and Avaline Freeda (Ground) Wyder also preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Maskier.                                                       

Bryant was a 1971 graduate of Oakfield-Alabama High School and a 1985 graduate of Erie Community College with an Electronics degree and then was employed for over 23 years at Somerset Power. He was never content just sitting around unless it was NHL hockey season or the playoffs you could find him planting his garden, or simply tinkering around the house. "I Like to Many Things" which led him to his Harley Davidson, John Deere tractor or his Backhoe. It was his selflessness that was unmatched, he gave everything for his family asking nothing in return, a humble man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren and four legged companions, Mel & Ben. 

Surviving is his beloved wife of 32 years Carin (Schaal) Wyder of Basom; children, Taylor Wyder at home, Nicole (Mike) Williams of Scottsville and Michele (Dan) Saeva of LeRoy; beloved grandchildren, Courtney, Shelby, Nissa, Skyler and Kori; brother of Anita (Bob) Goras and Vance (Shirley) Wyder both of Basom and simply "Uncle Guy" to several nieces and nephews.

Charles Schwalenstocker

Lifelong Attica resident, Charles Schwalenstocker, passed away on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at the New York State Veteran’s Home in Batavia, NY. He had attained his goal of reaching 100.

He was born on May 18, 1918 at the family owned Liberty Hotel on Exchange Street in Attica, NY. He graduated from Attica High School in 1936 and from Syracuse University in 1940 with a Business Degree. After college, he began work in Buffalo, NY.

Charles was drafted on the 3rd of April 1942 and was favorably discharged on the 21st of January 1946. After training, he was a medic at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC. He eventually went overseas and proudly fought in WWII in the European Arena. He was proud to be part of the 309th Infantry- Company D- Lightning Division, where he was a Weapon Platoon Runner. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was part of the first group over the Remagen Bridge.

He married Mary Fuest on November 7th, 1942. They eventually settled on Prospect Street where they made a home for their 4 children- Charles (Catherine) Schwalenstocker, Livonia, NY, Mary Ann (Richard) Gilman, Clifton Springs, NY, Patricia Reed, West Henrietta, NY, and John (Susan) Schwalenstocker, Spring Hill, Florida.

After serving as Attica Village Clerk for many years, he operated a home-based income tax business. He had many loyal customers.

Charles was an active member of St. Vincent’s, the VFW, and the American Legion in Attica, NY. He was most proud of being a 70-year member of the Attica Fire Department, where he held many offices.

Family was important to Charles. He was always interested in his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his brother in law, Charles Fuest, North Java, NY and niece, Betty Jane (Ulmer) Sroczyk of Cheektowaga, NY. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary in 2007, two sisters, Marion (Foye) Davidson and Wilma (Harold) Ulmer.

Calling hours will be 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street, Attica, New York 14011. An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. Joachim and Anne Church (St. Vincent’s) 50 East Ave Attica, NY. Charles will be laid to rest with full Military Honors at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Exchange Street, Attica.

NANCY LEE (COLOMBO) TRENDEL

NANCY LEE (COLOMBO) TRENDEL ~ Age 75, of Batavia, died peacefully Sunday afternoon July 1, 2018 at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born in Batavia, NY, October 2, 1942 to Samuel and Erla (Nichols) Colombo.

Nancy was a Batavia High School graduate, spent some time as a local hairdresser and along with her brother Bob ran Just Ducky Crafts for many years. In her early years with her husband Dan, she enjoyed roller skating at the former Skate 98, was a wonderful cook, enjoyed shopping and was always up for good conversation with friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dan Trendel; children, Lisamarie Elmore, James (Lisa) Elmore; Joseph (Jennifer) Elmore all of Batavia; grandchildren, Maressa (Joshua) Earl, Samantha Dombrowski, Nicole, Cassie, Nicholas, Michael & Ashley Elmore; great-grandchildren, Addison, MJ, Collin, Lila, Cayden and several other great-grandchildren; brothers Robert (Josephine) Colombo of Batavia and Paul (Penelope) Colombo of Rochester along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy's family will be present from 4-8pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where funeral services will be held at 11:30am Friday July 6. Timothy E. Bey

Timothy E. Bey, 38 ,of Buffalo, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2018.  He was born July 3rd, 1979 in Warsaw, New York to Matthew W. and Melody A. (Merkle) Bey.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Daniel M. Bey and niece, Arianna L. Bey, both of Kenmore, New York. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren. He was a friend to all who knew him and loved life to its fullest.  He is pre-deceased by his Grandparents, Willard S. and Norma (Preston) Bey and Ellsworth C. and Geraldine (Sondericker) Merkle. 

Timothy is a 1997 Graduate of Attica Central High School and a 2001 Graduate of Niagara University.  He was a Senior Systems Consultant with Key Bank in Buffalo.  He had a heart of gold and ironically it was that heart that became too weak to allow him to be with his family and friends here on earth any longer.  His family is very thankful to the Cardiac Transplant Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY for the care and compassion shown to Tim for the past few months.

Timothy had a passion for golf, fishing, virtual reality and travel.  He had a very competitive nature and could come up with trivia and facts to fit any conversation he was involved in.   “Uncle Timmy” was the fun Uncle to many children.

Calling hours will be Saturday, July 7th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Marley Funeral Home, LLC, 135 Main Street, Attica, New York 14011.  The Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, July 8th at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery on Exchange Street, Attica, following the service.

Lorie Marilyn Cook

Batavia - Lorie Marilyn Cook, 53, of Batavia, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at her home in Batavia.

Mrs. Cook was born August 24, 1964 in Plattsburgh, a daughter of Irene (Larche) Tatro of Oakfield and the late Raymond A. Tatro.

She loved her dog Pearl.  

Surviving along with her mother is her husband, David Cook of Batavia; 3 step-children, David Cook, Emily Cook and Adam Cook, all of Attica; 8 siblings, Raymond Tatro of MD, Joey Tatro of Attica, Bonnie Fustanio of Rochester, Sheron Hyde of Point Breeze, Deborah Osborne of Stafford, Nancy (Philip) Pflender of Pavilion, Diane Wyder of Akron and Michelle Sahr of Pavilion, NY; a sister-in-law, Lori (Robert) Rich of Colden; a grandson, Hayden Cook; several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Thomas Tatro.

Henry J. Kelver

Henry J. Kelver was born December 17, 1925 at home in Sheldon, NY to the late Henry C. (Eva Harbaugh) Kelver. He passed away June 30, 2018 in Warsaw. Henry was preceded in death by sisters Betty Gardner and Marjorie Weaver.

He was raised in Sheldon to a farming family and was eager to take over the 4th generation of the Kelver Dairy Farm where he and his wife Norma raised 5 boys. They Celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last summer.

Henry was a lifetime member of the St. John’s UCC. As a younger man he was active in 4H and the church youth group. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Masons. Henry was a board member of Buffalo Milk Coop and Frontier Federated Milk Coop. He was also past President of Upstate Milk Coop and member of the Milk for Health Committee. Near his retirement from the Dairy Farm he drove a milk truck and then went on to drive a school bus for handicapped children (he did LOVE to drive!!).

Henry was quite the character. If you knew him, you laughed with him. Never at a loss for a joke or trick, he got ALL in his circle at one time or another with a gag. Henry and Norma have had a very large, very long time group of friends in NY and many in Houston, TX where they were snowbirds for years. He will be missed by so many. Henry lived large, had fun, left his mark!

He is survived by his beloved wife Norma (Geer) Kelver of Strykersville; sons Richard (Esther) of Buffalo; David (Sandy) of Buffalo; Paul (Lenore) of Spring, TX; Robert (Cindy) of Strykersville; Scott (Tammy) Kelver of Spring, TX; sister Viola Koch of North Tonawanda; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Henry’s Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 PM on Friday July 6, 2018 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 608 Centerline Road, Strykersville, NY 14145. Food and burial to follow.

Mr. Donald M. Endres, Sr.

Basom - Donald M. Endres, Sr., age 88, of Basom, custodian at the Oakfield-Alabama School District for 33 years, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his home in Basom.

He was born May 20, 1930 in Buffalo, the son of the late Rudolph and Anna Thim Endres.

A member of Saint Padre Pio Parish, Mr. Endres served on the bereavement committee and was a greeter. He was very active in various committees at the former St. Patrick's Oratory. An active bowler, reader, stamp collector he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Don coached little league baseball when his son played.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara R.  Martin Endres, whom he married September 17, 1949; his children, Donald R. Endres, Jr. of Basom, Sandra (Craig) Andrews of Cleburne, Texas and Sally (Pete) Martino of Scottsville; seven grandchildren, John (Krista) Andrews of Columbus, Ohio, Scott Andrews of Palm Desert, California, Megan (Shane) Korman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Bryce, Myles, Nicholas and Tyler Martino of Scottsville; his sister, Shirley (Frank) Gross of Basom and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at Saint Padre Pio Parish ~ Oakfield Worship Site, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Deborah A. Taylor

Deborah A. Taylor, 60 of Batavia, passed away due to complications of an autoimmune disease disorder on Sunday July 1, 2018. She was born October 27, 1957 to the late William Dugan and Joan (Fouchie) Dugan of Darien. She is preceded in death by daughter Christina Marie Taylor.  

Deb started her nursing career as a candy striper at the Genesee County Nursing Home, she then received her LPN at McCallie School of Nursing then her RN at Genesee Community College and her Bachelor’s Degree at Roberts Wesleyan College. She also worked at the VA and St. Jerome Hospital, and she worked 30 plus years at Genesee Memorial/United Memorial Medical Center in the ICU, recovery room, as well as a Nursing Supervisor and for the last 20 plus years she worked in the Emergency Department. She was active in the Emergency Nurses Association where she held many positions. In the late 70’s and early 80’s she served as an EMT with LeRoy Volunteer Ambulance. She was also a CPR Instructor and taught many other classes around the area. She also served as a personal nurse to many friends in local law enforcement and fire departments. Lately her days were spent babysitting her grandson, who was her world.

Along with her mother she leaves behind her husband Jack E. Taylor whom she married September 4, 1982; daughter Stephanie (Michael Shellman) Taylor of Pavilion; siblings Glenn (Mary) Dugan of Roanoke, VA; Rebecca (Henry) Juliano of North Tonawanda; grandson Jackson William Taylor; along with many nieces and nephews.

Roger Alyn Paddock

Roger Alyn Paddock of Perry, NY went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2018 at the age of 84. He was born on 2/26/34 to Earle and Irene Coon Paddock. His birth took place in Nunda, NY in his Grandparent’s home during a blizzard that paralyzed travel for weeks. He was later joined by a brother, Frank (Emma) Paddock of Pavilion, a sister Viva (Jim) Phillips Richardson of Wyoming, a brother Kurt (Lyn) Paddock of Fayetteville and a sister-in-law Ginny (Dwight) Paddock Gay of Warsaw.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a son: Bradley Roger Paddock who passed away in 2015.

Roger was always ambitious! He worked at local farms while attending and graduating from Perry High School. He then went on to join the Army, serving in the 26th infantry know as “The Big Red One” in Germany. Following the service he started Paddock’s Breeding Service in 1957, working as an artificial inseminator of dairy cattle. He then married his beautiful bride, the love of his life, Brenda Buckland in 1958. This past April they celebrated 60 years of marriage! Roger then went on to start a teenage night club, The Sandsabarn; open a travel agency, Serendipity Travel; operate the Perry Movie Theater; and co-own Perry Speedway with his lifelong friend Donald Butler. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Perry Center, Perry Rotary Club for 58 years, and served as a Councilman for the Perry Town Board for 32 years. Roger’s favorite hobby was working and starting new endeavors, along with traveling.

Roger had five children: Don (Daelene) Paddock of Perry, Jody (Tim) Von Sanden of Pavilion, Bradley (Jean) Paddock of Warsaw, Jennifer (Paul) Guy of Foxboro, MA and Nathan (Jill) Paddock of Perry. He had 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 6:00PM Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Perry High School auditorium. He will be laid to rest in West Perry Cemetery at 10:00am the following day.

Anita M. Wight

Anita M. Wight, 83, of Stafford, passed away on June 30, 2018 peacefully at her home. She was born on March 5, 1935 in Alexander to the late Raymond (Beatrice Sprague) Good. She is preceded in death by her husband Carlton Wight; sister Janet Radley.

Anita worked for many years as a waitress at Country Kitchen in Batavia. She enjoyed bingo and garage sales. Anita loved vacationing with her husband, especially spending time at Rushford Lake.  

She is survived by her children Dennis Wight of Batavia; Laurie (Jason Burk) Brady of LeRoy; brothers Richard (Alice) of TX; Gerald (Charlene) of Batavia; Larry (Sue) Good of Alexander; 7 grandchildren Bradley Wight; Jessica and Bethanee Brady; Alex Egeli; Lauryn Wight; Kayleb and Sierra Burk; two great-grandchildren Trenton and Dominic, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Anita will be laid to rest at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alexander.

ROBERT M. and CAROL R. HARROWER

ROBERT M. "BOB" HARROWER ~ Batavia businessman Robert M. Harrower, died peacefully Friday morning June 22, 2018 at the New York State Veterans’ Home @ Batavia. Mr. Harrower, a Batavia native, was born October 9, 1933, the son of the late Harold Edgar Harrower and Harriet F. Harrower. He is predeceased by his two sisters; Jean Harloff and Marjorie Spaulding.

He was a 1951 graduate of Batavia High School and earned a Business Administration in Management degree from Bryant and Stratton Business Institute in 1958. Mr. Harrower served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion.

On April 26, 1958, Robert Harrower and Carol Rowcliffe were united in marriage, raised 3 wonderful children and celebrated their 60th year together on April 26, 2018. Bob passed peacefully last Friday morning and just 4 days later Carol took his hand to reunite with him and strengthen the bond that can never be broken.  

In 1963 Mr. Harrower became President of the Genesee Lumber Co., Inc. as well as Batavia Homes and Development Corporation after the unexpected death of his father who founded the business in 1928. He successfully ran the business until his retirement in 1995 at the end of Franklin St. in Batavia where it stands today, expanding and still run by the Harrower family. Mr. Harrower developed the Clinton Gardens subdivision in Northeastern Batavia where Naramore Dr. is the primary road through the subdivision. He also served on the board of Directors of Genesee Reserve Supply Inc. from 1969-1972. 

Mr. Harrower was active in community service groups including the Batavia Jaycees, Rotary Club, Moose Lodge and the former Elks Lodge. He served on the Board of Directors with the Genesee Memorial Hospital (UMMC) and was chairman of the Building and Grounds committee. A member of the former Batavia Club (Seymour Place and home of GO ART), where he served as chairman of the restoration of the historic landmark building that sits on the corner of Bank and Main Sts and enjoyed many years of playing Bridge with his "buddies". He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church where he served on the building and grounds committee. He also earned the rank of Eagle Scout while in the Boy Scouts of America. Bob enjoyed many years at Stafford Country Club playing golf, and travelling with his beloved, Carol along with spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons; John (Leslie) Harrower of Batavia, James (Judy) Harrower of Alexandria, VA and his daughter, Susan (Scott) Cosgrove of Churchville; four grandchildren, Michael (Stacy Barwick) Harrower, Eric Harrower, Ryan and Katie Cosgrove; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn (Mary Ellen) Rowcliffe of Batavia; brothers-in-law, Harold "Harley" Harloff and Oliver Spaulding both of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews survive.

CAROL ROWCLIFFE HARROWER ~ Age 82, of Batavia, died peacefully Tuesday June 26, 2018 at Unity Hospital in Rochester surrounded by her loving family. A Batavia native, she was born August 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Harry and Myrtle (Bates) Rowcliffe. Carol mourned the loss of her beloved husband, Robert just four days earlier on June 22, 2018.   

Carol was a 1953 graduate of Batavia High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Keuka College in 1957, and was most proud of being a Registered Nurse along with an American Red Cross nurse. It was Carol's love of children that led her to a job as Charge Nurse in Pediatrics from 1957-1961 at the former Genesee Memorial Hospital (UMMC). After raising three children, she worked on call as a nurse in the Batavia City School District. She was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, was a former member of the Vestry and was actively involved in the church annual Antique Show. She participated for many years in the annual Batavia Rotary Club show productions assisting namely with make-up and costumes. Carol enjoyed many years of planning and then travelling with Bob, socializing and playing Bridge with family and friends and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. Carol's love of her children and grandchildren was never more evident as she fought her illness to the final moment to be with family. 

She is survived by her sons; John (Leslie) Harrower of Batavia, James (Judy) Harrower of Alexandria, VA and her daughter, Susan (Scott) Cosgrove of Churchville; four grandchildren, Michael (Stacy Barwick) Harrower, Eric Harrower, Ryan and Katie Cosgrove; brother, Lynn (Mary Ellen) Rowcliffe of Chili; brothers-in-law, Harold "Harley" Harloff and Oliver Spaulding both of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews survive.

There is no prior visitation, The Harrower family invites all to celebrate in Bob and Carol's funeral service 1pm Thursday July 12, 2018 at St. James Episcopal Church 405 East Main Street Batavia, NY with Mother Bonnie Morris Officiating. Bob and Carol will be laid to rest together in Grand View Cemetery, along with Military Honors for Bob. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to John Harrower that will be  shared with Bob & Carol's community interests to include the United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC), YMCA and St. James Episcopal Church in Batavia.

PAUL A. GILLETTE

PAUL A. GILLETTE ~ 

Age 77, proud lifelong resident of Barre Center, died at Orleans Community Health in Medina Wednesday evening June 20, 2018. He was born November 3, 1940 in Albion, NY a son of the late Homer and Helen (Klinke) Gillette also preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Gillette and Robert Gillette.                                                      

Paul was employed for over 30 years at the Eastman Kodak Co. along with working and maintaining his true passion, his 400 acre farm to support his family and educate them in the farming business. He was active in the community including a member of the Barre Town Planning Board, Barre Center Fire Department, Albion Masonic Lodge #97 or just about anyone who needed an "extra hand", Paul was there. He had a love of the outdoors, hunting, bird watching and Sprint Racing. Paul will be remembered as a wonderful husband who provided for and loved his children and grandchildren immensely. 

Surviving is his beloved wife of 43 years Penelope "Penny" (Pinkney) Gillette of Barre Center; children, Kathy (Sean Pogue) Klein of Barre, Barbara (Jack) Baird of Barre, Terri (Richard) Monicelli of Albion and Michael Gillette of Albion; grandchildren, Austin (Abigail Hoover) Klein, Bailey Klein and Emma Klaver, Josh and Katie Baird, Jacob and Cassie Monicelli, Zach (Amanda Schumacher) Gillette, Erin and Cody Gillette; great-grandchildren, Hope & August Klein along with several other great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Theresa Gillette of Barre; former sister-in-law, Lois (Robert) Bishop of Albion; aunt, Lois Shepler of Brockport; nephew, Scott Gillette; nieces, Bri Guzedek & Nikki Schuknecht along with several other nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with Paul's wishes funeral services will be held privately by the family and memorials in his memory are suggested to the Barre Center Presbyterian Church.

Robert C. Weaver

Elba - Robert C. Weaver, 55, of Elba, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

Robert was born November 5, 1962 in Batavia, a son of the late Robert and Doris (Berger) Weaver.

Robert enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Sara (Kreutter) Weaver of Elba; a son, Josh (Rachael) Weaver of Corfu; three daughters, Danielle (Alan Terry) Weaver of Batavia, Elizabeth Weaver of Corfu and Emma Weaver of Corfu; grandchildren, Logan, Natalie, Allianna, Brantley and another granddaughter expected in September; two brothers, Francis Weaver of Batavia and Walter Weaver of Batavia; two sisters, Ruth (Robert) VanDorn of Batavia and Diane Nicholas of Batavia; his mother-in-law, Letha Kreutter of Alexander; nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Robert is predeceased by his father-in-law, Henry Kreutter.  

A Celebration of Roberts life will be held at a later date.

Eleanor M. Rosemark

East Bethany - Eleanor M. Rosemark, 93, of East Bethany, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Corfu.

Eleanor was born December 22, 1924 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Merton and Marie (Burt) Putnam.

Eleanor was a member of the First Baptist Church of Batavia since 1942.  She worked at the former C.L. Carr in Batavia, retiring in 1993. 

Survivors include one son, Alfred (Sue) Rosemark of Elba; two daughters, Ann (Joe) Tiede of Corfu and Reneé (Brian) Burns of East Pembroke; grandchildren, August Rosemark, Gretchen (Mario) Rosales,  Tully (Alicia) Rosemark,  Casey (Nicole) Rosemark,  Maxwell (Jen) Falkowski, Carli (Ken) Wright, Amanda (Joshua) Swimline, William (Emily) Burns,  Ethan Burns, Patrick Burns and Christian Burns; a sister,  Doris Frances Johnson of Avon; a brother-in-law, James Smithgall of Caledonia; a sister-in-law, Marie Manley of Caledonia; fifteen great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Rosemark, a son, William Rosemark, a sister, Lucille Smithgall, a brother, Earl Putnam and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Johnson.  

Calling hours are Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia, where services will be at 1:00 p.m. also on Monday.  Eleanor will be laid to rest in East Bethany Cemetery, East Bethany.
