Take advantage of a free car seat safety check from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at Albion Fire Hall.

The event is hosted by state Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,I,C - Batavia) in conjunction with the state police.

"Despite parents' best intentions, statistics show that 70 percent of car seats are installed improperly," Hawley said in a press release. "I would like to encourage all parents to attend this important event and would like to thank the New York State Police for coming to make sure car seats are properly installed."

The fire hall is located at 108 North Platt Street. RSVP by calling Assemblyman Hawley's office at 585-589-5780.
