Unknown injuries.

Town of Batavia fire and Mercy EMS dispatched.

UPDATE 6:14 p.m.: Town of Batavia's Engine 24 going back in service.

Rollover accident on Lewiston Road, Oakfield responding

A rollover accident, unknown injuries, is reported at 7420 Lewiston Road. Oakfield fire and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 4:31 p.m.: A responder on scene reports "minor, if any, injuries" and says medics can "back it down."

UPDATE 4:39 p.m.: Oakfield is back in service.

Accident with injuries on westbound Thruway, East Pembroke fire responding

An accident with injuries is reported on the westbound Thruway near mile marker 394. It may be a rollover. East Pembroke Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 9:04 p.m.: The actual mile marker is 393, which puts it in Town of Batavia's district. 

UPDATE 9:06 p.m.: It sounds like a sign-off on the patient and Mercy EMS as well as the fire departments are back in service.

Two-car crash with injuries at Edgerton Road and Route 98, Elba

A two-car accident with injuries is reported at Route 98 and Edgerton Road, Elba. One vehicle is blocking the roadway. Elba fire and Mercy medics are responding.

Two-vehicle accident reported on Route 98, Elba

A two-vehicle, injury accident is reported on Oak Orchard Road near Edgerton Road, Elba.

Elba fire and Mercy EMS responding.

A second ambulance is requested to the scene, non-emergency.

First responders report a slick roadway.

Route 98 is closed from Ford Road to Edgerton.

Crash at routes 20 and 238, unknown injuries

A motor-vehicle accident, unknown injuries, is reported at routes 20 and 238. Darien fire and ambulance and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 11:55 a.m.: This is a pickup truck vs. car accident. Both drivers are reportedly out of the vehicles, talking. The vehicles are off the road; traffic is not blocked.

UPDATE 12:11 p.m.: A second Mercy rig is called in lieu of Darien's ambulance.

UPDATE 1:21 p.m.: The Darien assignment is back in service.

Wreck with injuries on Clinton Street Road, Bergen

A two-car accident with injuries is reported at 8073 Clinton Street Road. Bergen fire and Mercy medics are responding. The location is in front of the feed convenience store.

Truck off the road on Route 77, Pembroke

A tractor-trailer has become entangled in poles and wires along Route 77 just south of Route 5 in Pembroke, though no injuries are reported.

A deputy on scene says that the only thing keeping the truck from rolling over are "these poles and wires."

National Grid is requested to the scene.

A one-car rollover accident with unknown injuries is reported at 6653 Ellicott Street Road. Pavilion fire and Mercy medics are responding. The location is between Cook and Sparks roads.

UPDATE 11:13 a.m.: Minor injuries. A second vehicle was also involved.

Accident with minor injuries at Route 63 and Little Canada Road

A vehicle has reportedly hit a tree on Alleghany Road north of Roberts Road, Alabama.

There is airbag deployment.

Driver involved in Sunday night accident charged with DWI

A driver involved in an accident Sunday night on Ellicott Street near Jackson Avenue that sent two people to the hospital has been charged with DWI.

Reid E. Scott, 23, of Bear Road, Cowlesville, is also charged with driving with a BAC of .08 or greater, leaving the scene of an injury accident, reckless driving, speeding and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. 

Scott's vehicle was northbound on Ellicott Street, allegedly at a high rate of speed, according to investigators. A second vehicle was in the left-turn lane, intending to turn into Kwik Fill, and Scott allegedly attempted to pass the vehicle on the left by driving in the wrong lane toward oncoming traffic.

Scott's vehicle struck the turning vehicle. His vehicle then continued north striking a railroad crossing sign and utility pole.

Scott allegedly fled the scene of the accident on foot and was later located in Jackson Square. He suffered a hand injury.

Batavia PD did not release the names of the occupants of the other vehicle or provide information on their injuries.

UPDATE Tuesday, 4:50 p.m.: The driver of the second vehicle was Frances Riggs, of Brockport, and the passenger was Mattie Cole, of Albion. Both were transported to UMMC, but neither suffered a significant  injury, according to Sgt. Chris Camp.
