Farm Town

posted by Bea McManis in Facebook, games.

Bea stands up, shuffles feet, and clears throat.

My name is Bea and I am a Farm Town addict.

I'm not sure if it is because I'm in a rural area that living the farm life vicariously through this simulation or if it is the thrill of selling  produce for vast sums of money, but I'm stuck on it.

Thanks to a good batavian.com blogger (we don't name names, because some addicts don't want to become public)  who helped me harvest last night.  It worked out for both of us.

Just a hint to those of you who do farm and send stuff....I really, really, really need animals.  My farm just doesn't look right without them. hint, hint, hint.

I'm weaning my way out of the farm for the weekend by planting crops that take three days to ripen.  That way I won't need to be there all weekend long.  Think it will work?

Hi Bea, my name is Lorie, and I'm a Farm Town addict! I am hopelessly addicted. I am also in need of animals. My very modest little farm has one lonely chick. Tonight he was perched on my corral, which is under construction, and desperately needs some barnyard companions. I believe that I sent you some kind of critter earlier today (or maybe it was a plant) and will be sure and gift you an animal tomorrow. BTW -- Thanks for coming by and harvesting that rice paddy this evening. Grapes will be ready soon! My real life garden is coming along nicely -- harvested a few zucchini and summer squash over the past few days. Tomatoes are beginning to set, beets are looking good, peppers not so good. Mosquitoes have become a real issue now with all the rain. A few dry days with warm sunshine would bring everything on nicely. The other problem with the rain is some root rot with some of the yellow squash falling victim. So I really want the sky to stop dropping the H2O. As they say in the program -- "keep coming back" -- to Farm Town, that is.

Lori, Hope the goat will feel at home in your corral.
