Candlelight vigil in front of City Hall, then walk to GO ART! in remembrance of those killed due to transphobic violence
A candlelight vigil will be held in front of Batavia City Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 20 as part of the International Transgender Day of Remembrance.
It begins at 6 p.m. and is intended to remember friends and loved one who have been lost to transphobic violence.
Names of victims will be read and a moment of silence shared before the walk to GO ART! for light refreshments. Reflections are welcome by all who wish to speak.
City Hall is at 1 City Centre in Downtown Batavia; GO ART! is at 201 E. Main St., Batavia.
