Early American Survival: Reenactor describes life in the wilderness, kids will love this, at Oakfield Town Hall
posted by Jamie Lindsley in Architecture,Civic,History,Preservation.
America was much different for a pioneer in the late 1700s than it is today. Pioneers had to face so many hardships. Jim Ferris, reenactor, will be in full costume and will share what was needed to survive in the wilderness. He will have all the items he would need to survive in the elements for days in the 1700’s, as there were no hotels or inns here back then. This is a FANTASTIC program especially for children.
