“Majestic Lights in the Park”is a lighted Christmas Tree celebration representing area families, businesses, organizations and/or in the memory of a loved one who is no longer with us.
Purchase a Christmas Tree (through the project) and decorate it as you wish.
The $30 fee covers the cost of the tree, materials for the sign, lead cords, replacements cords and adapters as needed, etc. Participants will provide lights and decorations. Please use LED lighting only.
Please fill out the attached application and return to the Town Clerks office with $30.00 no later than Monday, November 7th.
The Christmas Trees will be in and ready to decorate on Thursday, November 24th through November 27th. Please have trees decorated no later than 3:00pm on Sunday, November 27th. This will allow for a final check of the electricity prior to the lighting.
The festivities will begin at 5:00pm on Sunday, November 27th at the Elroy D. Parkins Park (Little League Park). Refreshment and a light snack will be provided. All trees will be lighted simultaneously.
