Learn how to find your way without batteries or a cell phone signal – by using a map and compass!! Join us as the Rochester Orienteering Club presents Orienteering at the Genesee County Park & Forest Interpretive Nature Center on Saturday September 25h from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm! Perfect for beginners or those who want to practice their skills. Schedule of events as follows:

9:00 – 9:45 am 10:00
10:00 – 11:00 am advanced runners. 1:00 pm

Orienteering training clinic for beginners
Orienteering courses open, 3-hour time limit to complete
60-minute Orienteering Score O and 6K point to point course for

Orienteering courses close

All materials are provided, no experience necessary. Orienteering is a family-friendly sport for people of all ages and ability levels. This program will be held outdoors. All participants must sign a waiver prior to orienteering. Masks must be worn whenever unable to maintain 6 feet of social distance. Pre-registration is required!
