Come view the movie and join us for a group discussion afterward at the Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia.

On Thursday, Jan. 9th at 6 p.m. we will be showing the movie “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” the featured 2010 Tale for Three Counties book and visit from author Garth Stein.

The book is about Denny Swift, a Formula One race car driver who understands that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate everyday life. Besides his career, Swift has three loves of his life -- his beautiful wife, their young daughter and his best friend, which is a dog that wants to be reincarnated into a human.
