News flash to all you people out there: You DO NOT have to follow the orders of the police, until you have broken a law. Since he is only charged with that bullshit not obeying orders charge, with a good lawyer he will walk.
The police have ZERO right to interfere in your activities until you break a law.
You can simply say to them "What law have i broken? Am i being detained?" if they cannot answer the first or answer no to the second you say " I do not wish to have an interaction with the police right now, and walk away"
