Brian C. Morasco

Batavia - Brian C. Morasco, 57, of Batavia, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at United Memorial Medical Center. Brian was currently fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Morasco was born June 2, 1959 in Batavia, a son of the late Michael and Margaret Ann McCann Morasco.

A

n avid fisherman, Brian took great pride in his lawn and enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his garage. His family meant everything to him and Brian loved being with his sons and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Teressa M. DeFazio Morasco, whom he married June 5, 1982; two sons, Christopher (Nicole) Morasco and Matthew (Stephanie) Morasco, both of Batavia; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Anna and Ryan Morasco; his sister, Pat (Ken) Roblee of Corfu; three brothers, Michael Morasco. Vincent Morasco and Rev. James (Martha) Morasco, all of Batavia; along with several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 18 Ellicott Street, Batavia.  Memorials may be made to Genesee Cancer Assistance, 16 Bank Street, Batavia, New York 14020 or to Wilmot Cancer Institute, University of Rochester Medical Center, P.O.
