Casey D. Nutting, 45 of Batavia passed away unexpectedly on Friday (November 6, 2020) at United Memorial Medical Center.

He was born December 15, 1974, in Batavia, a son of James Nutting and Rebecca Judd.

Casey was employed by Advanced Auto Parts in Batavia. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, swimming and would try to do just about anything life gave him. He was an excellent cook and very much enjoyed Alaska, where he had lived previously for fifteen years.

He is survived by his mother, Rebecca (Daniel) Judd of Batavia. Father, James (Carolyn) Nutting of Summerfield, FL. Children, Sirius, Elora and Curtis Nutting, all of Alaska. Brothers, Corrie (Karen) Nutting of Tacoma, WA and Chad (Courtney) Judd of Batavia. Step-sister, Tammy (Roy) Martin of Summerfield, FL. Step-brothers, Joseph Lindsley of Medina and James Lusk of Summerfield, FL. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for sometime during the summer of 2021.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used to set up a trust fund for Casey’s three children and mailed to Rebecca Judd, 25 Union St., Batavia, NY 14020 or to The Bridge Addiction Recovery, 22 Washington Ave., Batavia, NY 14020.
