
Mr. Thomas Corradini, 90, of Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Batavia, New York passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on January 18, 1935, to the late Frank and Madeline Giovangrossi Corradini. Tom was born in Cori, Italy, and immigrated to the United States in 1948. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jean.
Mr. Corradini was a longtime member of St. Anthony’s Parish until its closure in December 2012 and then attended Ascension Parish. He moved to Frederick, Maryland, in July 2024, to be closer to his family. He attended St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor in Frederick.
Tom, a devoted husband and father, Veteran of the United States Army, having been stationed in Texas and Alaska. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to work at Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where he worked until 1986. Tom also worked at Batavia Downs and retired from the ARC in 1997. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the Buffalo Bills, and the Buffalo Sabres. For many years Tom made his own wine to share with his friends and family. Tom was a successful gardener and loved growing vegetables, especially tomatoes, zucchini, lettuce, garlic, and peppers, which he proudly shared with friends. He loved a good joke and was quick to respond with one himself.
He is survived by his three loving daughters: Michelle (Jared) Goodfriend of Frederick, MD; Andrea (Jonathan) Goodwin of Ellicott City, MD; Brenda (Michael) Kurtianyk of Middletown, MD; his 7 grandchildren: David (Emily) Goodfriend, Michael (Kelsey) Goodfriend, Jordan, Christopher, Zachary, Alexis and Tara; and 4 great-grandchildren: Jack, Reid, Kimberly and Anne Marie; brother Frank Corradini (Nancy); and two nieces: Mary (Tony) Sweet and Camille (Richard) Noell.
A private interment will take place in the future at the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu, NY.
