Linda Jane Hough, 78 of Retsof, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Charlotte House with her husband by her side. She was born in Elmira, NY on February 14, 1947 to the late Orlando and Susan Tavani. She is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Albert Hough and a sister in law Virginia Hough.
Linda was an excellent nurse and retired from Highland Hospital in Rochester. She enjoyed playing chess, bowling and bird watching.
She is survived by her beloved husband Jeffrey L. Hough of Retsof, step-son Jeffrey (Heather) Hough Jr, of Utah, brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam (Grace) Hough, Diane Schmidt, Robert (Renee) Hough, Karen (Joe) Correa, three step-grandchildren, Gerod, Tristen and Owen Hough.
Friends are invited to call on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 11am to 1pm at Gilmartin Funeral Home, she will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
