Joan worked as a property & casualty insurance underwriter for General Accident in Buffalo. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family to Cape Cod, Siesta Key, FL and more than one trip across the country. Joan and her daughter recently took a “bucket list” trip to Sainte Anne de Beaupre in Quebec. She enjoyed her weekly game of Dominos with her friends. More than anything Joan loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband Donald J. Moynihan of Batavia; daughter Deborah (Jeffrey) Skeele of Manlius, NY; brother Carl Tretter of Batavia, sister Isabelle Rada of Batavia, brother in law Kenneth Dehm of Batavia; 2 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Prayers will be recited 9:00 AM at the Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday November 13, 2015 at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary’s Church) 18 Ellicott St. in Batavia, NY 14020. She will be entombed in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Batavia.
