Craig K. Gartley, 65, of Alexander passed away Tuesday December 1, 2015 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 15, 1949 in Warsaw to the late Kenneth and Helen (Gardner) Gartley.  

Craig's love for his family was unconditional. He will especially be missed by his beloved wife Chrissy who was his soul mate, and his rock. He adored his three daughters with all of his heart. Craig was known as Pa to his grandchildren, who he also cherished from the bottom of his heart. He loved watching wildlife and nature. Craig loved reading anything and everything, playing cards and drinking Schmidts. He will be missed by all who knew him, as he impacted anyone who crossed his path.

He is survived by his wife Christine (Adams) Gartley of Alexander; daughters Melissa (Chad) Valyear, Noelle (Nicholas) Gerlach, and Mariah Gartley all of Alexander; sisters Diane (Gary) Dean of Pavilion and Mary (John) Falcone of TN; brother Kenny Gartley of Chili; 5 grandchildren, Brian and Justin Valyear, Quinntin and Elainna Gerlach and Reese Smith along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Gary Gartley and sister Sandy Bunnell.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday December 4, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, New York 14020. A 10:00 Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 5th at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
