Therese A. Thompson, 71 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Thursday (December 3, 2015) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

She was born June 30, 1944 in Bellows Falls, VT, a daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Patch Frenette.

Therese was employed by Walmart in Batavia prior to her retirement. She enjoyed traveling to the casino, bingo, reading, vacationing to Vermont to visit family and friends and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She was a member of Ascension Parish and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Bernard J. Thompson of Batavia. Brother, Edward Frenette of St. Claire Shores, Michigan. Sister in-law, Virginia Frenette of Bellow Falls, Vermont. Nieces and nephews also survive.

She was the sister of the late Ernest Frenette Jr.

There will be no prior visitation. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
