Emil P. Jaroszewski

Emil P. Jaroszewski, age 91, of Perry, died on Monday December 28th at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw where he had been residing.Emil was born in Perry on July 5, 1924 a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Witek) Jaroszewski. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters: Lottie Bucci, Virginia Zarkowski and Helen Chilson.

Emil served with the US Army during WWII with the 17th Airborne.Emil was a graduate of Perry High School. He retired from the former Champion Products in 1987.He was a member of the Brick Presbyterian Church in Perry, lifetime member of the Perry VFW Post #5009 which he helped construct, a former member of the Perry Fire Department and a member of the Perry Fire Department Exempts. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was one that was able to fix anything that was put in front of him.

He is survived by his wife  Anna (Carney) Jaroszewski whom he married on July 2, 1949; daughter Sandra Ann (Larry) Bauer of Hamburg, a son; Todd (Tamara) Jaroszewski of Harrisburg, PA.; 4 grandchildren Bradley (Caitlyn Gorham) Bauer, Bethany (Dr. Andrew) Bukowinski, Kira and Marisa Jaroszewski; 2 great grandchildren Benjamin and Colin Bukowinski along with many nieces and nephews.
 

Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Saturday January 2nd at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry where funeral services will follow at 1pm. He will be laid to rest in the West Cemetery in Perry.
