NORMALEEN MARABELLA

Age 73, of Batavia, died peacefully Monday January 25, 2016 at Crossroads House surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 4, 1942 in Warsaw, NY, a daughter of the late, Kenneth and Marilyn (Morgan) Bagg; also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick L. "Satch" Marabella in 2009 and sister-in-law, Betty Antinore . 

Norma worked for many years at Walmart, enjoyed Bingo, trips to the casino, reading, gardening and watching her favorite TV programs. She was a supporter of the Humane Society and many veterans groups, and had a love of family gatherings especially at holiday time. She enjoyed her cat, Toby and will be remembered for her love and support of her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. 

Surviving are her loving children, Mark (Sabrina) Marabella, Darlene (Bill) Sargent, Lori Siedlecki and Lisa Pursel all of Batavia; 9 grandchildren, Ariel Pontillo, Brandon & Linsay Sargent, Anthony & Adam Siedlecki, James & Andrea Pursel, Ashley (Nick) Manuel and Shonta Carpenter; 6 great-grandchildren, Leilah, Miyah, Stellah, Aleah, Grayson & Landon; brothers, Kenneth (Patricia) Bagg of Warsaw, Clifford (Donna) Bagg of Batavia; brothers-in-law, John (Betty) Marabella of Batavia, Vincent Antinore of FL and sister-in-law, Joanne (Steven) Whitmore of East Bethany; sons-in-law, Greg Siedlecki and James Pursel, Jr. along with many nieces and nephews.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

The family will be present from 4 - 8pm on Friday January 29 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where a 10:30am funeral service will be held Saturday Jan. 30, she will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery with her husband. Memorials in her memory are suggested to Volunteers for Animals Genesee County Animal Shelter 3841 West Main Road or Crossroads House 11 Liberty Street Batavia, NY 14020.
