Jacqueline K. Pope, 71, formerly of Pavilion, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 29th at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility where she resided. Born April 17, 1944 in Batavia, New York to the late Reginald (Edith Richardson) Shepard. She married Lawrence W. Pope, Jr. on July 17, 1971 in Leroy, New York who preceded her in death on October 26, 2003. 

Jacqueline graduated from Leroy Central High School in 1962. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Jacqueline was a beautician, worked for GTE Sylvania until they closed, and then retired from Eastman Kodak Company. She was an avid Sports fan of especially the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.  In addition, Jacqueline enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by her loving twin sister Janice (Vincent) Cervoni,Batavia, New York, sister Bonnie (Roland) Sage, Leroy, New York, sister Dorene Shepard, Bergen, New York, Debra Shepard, Bergen, New York, sister-in-law Audrey Stout, Batavia, New York; daughter Crystal Nestler, Swansea, Illinois; son Eric Pope, Danbury, Connecticut; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Thomas and Marcia Pope, Attica, New York, Tracy and Marie Pope, North Chili, New York; four grandsons, four granddaughters and two great grand-children.

Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday March 8, 2016 from 3 - 6 PM at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Attica, New York 14011.  Funeral Services will take place immediately following at 6pm at Marley Funeral Home.
