  Lottie Skop Borkowski, 97, of Fairport, formally of Oakfield and Batavia, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday March 1, 2016.  She was born in Batavia on August 29, 1918 to the late Bruno and Maryann (Odakowski) Sulimowicz.

She is predeceased by her 1st husband Frank W. Skop and 2nd Leon Borkowski; brothers John and Leon Sulim, Joseph and Anthony Sulimowicz; sisters Rosie Smith and Sophie Matla.

Mrs. Borkowski is survived by her daughters; Mary (Mark) Hackett of Batavia and Diane (Stephen) Saunders of Pittsford; son Frank (Joann) Skop of Fairport; sister Florence Salviski and sister in law Betty Sulim both of Florida; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday March 5, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:30AM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Prayers will be recited at 11:30AM at the Funeral Home. A 12:00PM Noon Mass of Christian Burial will follow calling hours Saturday the 5th and will be held at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary’s) 18 Ellicott St. Batavia.  She will be laid to rest in St. Cecelia’s Cemetery in Oakfield.
