Lola Bishop

Palm Bay, Florida - Lola Bishop, 98, of Palm Bay, formerly of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Bethesda Nursing Home, in Palm Bay.

Mrs. Bishop was born April 14, 1917 in Rochester, the daughter of the late Glen and Alma Lambert Cooley.

Her husband, Addison A. Bishop, passed away on April 7, 1997.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Charles R.) Ruffino; grandchildren, Cheryl (Donald) Chmielowiec, Colleen (Bridget Borsa) Ruffino and Charles A. (Laura) Ruffino; great-grandchildren,  Elena and Maura Chmielowiec, Alex and Stephen Ruffino, nieces and her dear friend Joann Russell.

Mrs. Bishop worked for Graham Manufacturing, Genesee Hardware and the Batavia City School district where she retired from in 1982.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, was an avid reader and especially enjoyed her pets.
