Batavia - Irene M. Duckworth, 82, of Batavia, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Genesee County Nursing Home, in Batavia.
Irene was born January 16, 1934 in North Java, a daughter of the late Lee Roy and Ethel P. (Whitcomb) Duckworth.
She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Batavia.
Survivors include 2 sons, Douglas (Pat Heaman) Meyers and Donald (Sally) Meyers both of Batavia, 2 sisters, Carol (Frank) Aquino of Elba and twin sister, Arlene (Robert) Demarest of Batavia; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Whiteside, Michael Meyers, Deanna Meyers and Matthew Meyers; several great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Howard Duckworth, Raymond Duckworth, Paul L. Duckworth, Carl Duckworth, Harold Duckworth, Willard Duckworth, Cleta Davis, Clara Snyder Ida Duckworth and Oma Reddick.
Friends may attend graveside services at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grand View Cemetery, Clinton Street, Batavia.
