Mrs. Josephine L. Mosco

Oakfield - Mrs. Josephine L. Mosco, 90, of Oakfield, longtime member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Oakfield, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Genesee County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Mosco was born December 23, 1925 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Ercole and Jennie Taddei Cassiano.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Frank J.  Mosco; her children, Mark (Toni Buck) Mosco of Batavia,  Diane (Lee) Sage of Oakfield and the late Rita M. Davis who passed away on February 15, 1999; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her brother,  Quito (Geraldine) Cassiano of Oakfield; her sister, Nancy (Angelo) Steffenella of LeRoy and  numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased her brothers Nicholas and James Cassiano.

There are no prior visiting hours. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish -  St. Cecilia Worship Site, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield.  She will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery.
