LeRoy ~ Catherine Rose Lapp, age 100, was welcomed home to the Lord on Thursday evening (June 2, 2016) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.
Mrs. Lapp was a lifelong resident of LeRoy and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish since her birth.
Mrs. Lapp was most proud of her family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Lapp; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Lapp and her son-in-law, John Wujcik; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend to those who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence "Gooey" A. Lapp; her sons, Richard C. Lapp, Joseph C. Lapp and James F. Lapp and her daughter, Carole Lapp Wujcik; her brothers, Francis Zimmermann, Henry Zimmermann and Carl Zimmermann, and her grandson, Jason M. Wujcik.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, with interment to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
