Karen F. Clement

Stafford - Karen F. Clement, age 66, an administrative assistant for the town of Stafford, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Highland Health System.

Mrs. Clement was born January 31, 1950 in Batavia the daughter of the late Warren and Mary (Grace) Fargo who survives of Corfu.

She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church in Irondequoit.  Mrs. Clement previously belonged to St. James Episcopal Church of Batavia where she served on the vestry and was the choir director.  She enjoyed playing the piano and spending summers on Lake Ontario.  Before her employment for Stafford she was a telephone operator for NY Telephone.

Surviving along with her mother is her husband, Robert Clement, whom she married January 6, 1990.  Also surviving are  three daughters; Melissa (Gary Fore) Bowen of Batavia, Kathryn Bowen of Stafford and Michelle (Christopher)  Iwasko of  N. Chili; one brother, James (Amy) Fargo of Batavia, grandchildren; Kayleigh Perez, Whitney Athoe and Aidan and Katrina Iwasko and a great-grandchild, Zoey Keith.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4pm to 7 pm at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where her services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. She will be laid to rest in Stafford Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Anglican Church, c/o Fr. David Harnish, P.O.
