Age 72, of Batavia, went peacefully to her Lord on Friday August 26, 2016 at United Memorial Medical Center. She was born December 4, 1943 in Dunkirk, NY a daughter of the late Samuel and Philomena "Fannie" (Zappi) Barone also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony "NeNe"(Lorraine) Barone.
Mrs. Ubaney worked for many years as a recording secretary at Batavia Downs. She enjoyed many years of camping at Lei Ti Campground and was devoted to her family and friends.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 48 years, Frank J. Ubaney, Sr. of Batavia; loving sons, Frank J. (Brenda) Ubaney II of Churchville and Nicholas Ubaney of Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Theresa (Paul) Leone of Dunkirk, Kathy (Mark) Dimmer of Dunkirk, Patrick (Susan) Barone of Long Island along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Ubaney's family will be present from 4-8PM on Tuesday August 30 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020, please join her family 10:00AM Wednesday August 31at Ascension Parish (corner of Swan & Sumner Sts.) to celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial. Memorials in her memory are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice and burial will be held privately by the family.
