EDWARD R. (PARADOWSKI) FISHER

Age 96, of Oakfield, died peacefully Thursday October 27, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital. He was born October 12, 1920 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late Ignatius and Lucy (Orlowska) Paradowski also preceded in death by a sister, Alice Kruzicki. 

Mr. Fisher was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII having been stationed in England, he was very proud of his service time and would often share stories of the war with friends and family. He was an entrepreneur at heart, owning and operating many business throughout his lifetime. Ed enjoyed horses, taking care of his yard and mowing his lawn, an avid reader and frequent follower of Fox News, Bill O'Reilly. 

Surviving is his former wife, Ruth Bernhardt of Batavia, sons, Paul (Linda) Paradowski of Oakfield, Bruce (Cheryl) Fisher of NC, step-son, Norm (Pat) Fisher of AZ; sister, Emily Zagon of Cheektowaga; grandchildren, Paul (Julie) Paradowski, Mark (Lisa) Paradowski, Tracy (Scott) Denny, Craig (Catherine) Simon, Jennifer Daniel and Bruce (Carla) Fisher, 13 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. 

The Paradowski family will be present from 8:30 - 9:30AM Thursday November 3 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020 where prayers will be recited 9:30AM followed by a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Padre Pio Parish (Oakfield Site). He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with Military Honors and memorials in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
