James H. Dorman

James H. Dorman, 90 of Batavia, NY died August 13, 2010 at Genesee County Nursing Home in Batavia. Born April 28, 1920 in Batavia, NY son of the late Leo C. (Fanny Laramy) Dorman. 

Mr. Dorman was a lifelong self employed farmer, a 67 year member of the Elba Grange and life member of Godfrey’s Pond. 

Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Genagon Dorman in 2005. 

Survived by his daughter Virginia (Edward) Adams of Bergen, NY, a son Robert (Kathy) Dorman of Batavia, brother Earl (Suzanne) Dorman of Batavia. 2 Grandchildren Kathy (Chad) McLaughlin of Bergen, Heather (Jason) Wilder of Churchville, 3 great grandchildren Isabella and Willow Wilder and Anna McLaughlin survive along with nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Monday August 16th at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc., 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday August 17th at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Matthew Farrell officiating. Burial will take place in North Byron Cemetery.
