Barry R. Aradine

Bergen - Barry R. Aradine, 50, of Bergen, a lifelong farmer, most recently at Torrey Farms in Elba, died Friday, August 20, 2010at his home, in Bergen surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Aradine was born July 2, 1960 in Batavia, a son of Robert (Jackie Toscano) Aradine of Bergen and Bonnie (Robert) Drews Behage of Ellenton, FL. He was the grandson of Virginia Drews of Byron.

He was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a wonderful man who enjoyed the simple things in life and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was always a giver, never a taker. He loved his work, farming, snowmobiling, Saturday nights at the races with the 12B team, but most of all he loved his family. He was very loved by all whose lives he touched.  He will be dearly missed.

He was a member of Bergen United Methodist Church, Genesee Snow Packers and former member of the Future Farmers of America. He was a 1978 graduate of Byron Bergen High School.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Patricia (Zipfel) Aradine whom he married September 17, 1983; 2 sons, Brandon (Megan Mallaber) Aradine and Justin Aradine, both of Bergen, a special niece, Amy Herman of Warsaw; 2 brothers, Richard (Sharon) Aradine and Jeffrey (Liz) Aradine, both of Bergen; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, 1st Presbyterian Church of Elba, 23 N.
