Joanne F. Muller

Joanne F. Muller, 80, of Lancaster, formally of Batavia passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at the Greenfield Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 18, 1936 in Buffalo to the late Gerald and Mary (Richley) Flaherty.

Joanne was a Professor of Medical Records at Daemen College and a Medical Record Administrator at Strong Memorial in Rochester. She was the past president of the Medical Record Association of NYS, a member of the Batavia School District Board of Education and very active in Zonta Club. Joanne was a long time member of St. Mary’s Church in Batavia.

She is survived by her children; Ellen (Peter) Horn of East Aurora and Michael (Wendy) Muller of Boonville, NY; 5 grandchildren Matthew Muller, Kathleen Muller, Zachary Horn, Julia Muller and Erin Horn.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday December 2, 2016 from 4:00-7:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 3^rd at Resurrection Parish 18 Ellicott St. in Batavia. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
