CAROL L. DWORZACK

   Age 56, of Grand Island formerly of Batavia, NY died peacefully Thursday Sept. 9, 2010 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brave two year battle with breast cancer. She was born March 9, 1954 in New Orleans, LA daughter of Jack A. Randorf of Alden and the late Doris (Snowden) Randorf in 2004. Carol was employed at the UB North Campus in the University Bookstore and previously worked for K-Mart in Batavia & Buffalo and also for JoAnn Fabrics prior to her illness. A member of the Corvettes of Buffalo with her husband she enjoyed car rides and going to dinner. Carol loved to garden, feed birds, knit, garage sales and craft shows. She had an exceptional love for family especially her grandchildren. An avid reader Carol and her family had a yearly book reading competition that she won last year.

   Surviving along with her father is her beloved husband Steven Dworzack of Grand Island; loving children Kristy A. (Jonathan) Snyder of Hampton, VA; Kelly M. Stone of Batavia & David  A. Dworzack of Grand Island. Brothers Jeff (Patty) Randorf of East Aurora; John (Jamie) Randorf of Schenectady; grandchildren Kayla A. & Benjamin T. Stone both of Batavia; her mother-in-law Marian Dworzack of Batavia and sister-in-law Sheila Craver of LeRoy along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

   The family will be present from 4-8 PM Monday Sept. 13, 2010 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 west Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory are suggested to the family or to Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
