Mrs. Mary Ann Caito

Batavia - Mrs. Mary Ann Caito, 73, the retired office manager for Washington Towers, died suddenly, Thursday, September 23, 2010at home.

Mrs. Caito was born December 8, 1936 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Francis and Rose Matla.
She was a member of Resurrection Parish where she currently served on the Parish Council and was a former trustee of St. Mary’s Church. She belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society, St. Joseph Sodality and the Batavia Garden Club. A member of the UMMC League she served as its' Treasurer for over 40 years and also volunteered with the Girl Scouts.
 She was predeceased by her husbands, Paul Caito in 1960 and A. Edward Caito in 2004.
Survivors include one son; Paul (Cathleen) Caito of Ohio; one daughter; Kathryn (Lee) Liolios of Lancaster, NY and a sister, Joan MacKenzie of West Seneca. She was the grandmother of Lindsay (Chris) Dunlap, Chelsea, Mitchell and Jake Caito and Sophia Liolios.
 There will be no prior visitation. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 9:30 am at Resurrection Parish - St. Mary's Church. Memorials may be made to Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., or the United Memorial Medical Center League, 123 North St., both Batavia, NY 14020. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Arrangements completed by the H.
