Edward Frank Novack

Edward Frank Novack, 82, of Akron died Friday (September 24, 2010) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Buffalo on June 11, 1928 a son of the late Michael and Olga Steinbacher Novak.

Mr. Novack was a marine veteran of the Korean War.  He enjoyed gardening and wood working and was an avid beer stein collector.  He retired from the  Bon Ton Department Store in Buffalo where he was a warehouse worker.  

Surviving is his wife of over 53 years, Dolores Carlon Novack whom he married on December 29, 1956.  Two daughters and a son in law: Joanne and John Pullano of Amherst and Joyce Novack of Akron.  A son, Edward Novack of  New Kensington, PA.  Four grandchildren: Allison Pullano, Samantha, Nicholas and Alex Novack.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 PM at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, 32 JOHN ST. AKRON.  Services will be Monday from the funeral home at 10AM followed by burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cheektowaga with full military honors.
