Kenneth D. Taylor

Kenneth D. Taylor, 52, of Batavia, died Monday (September 27, 2010) at United Memorial Medical Center after a fall at his residence.

He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on August 8, 1958 a son of the late David Rudolph and Edna Lucille Creson Taylor.

Mr. Taylor worked in the housekeeping department at Genesee Community College and was a veteran of the US Air Force.  He enjoyed watching high school football games and traveled to watch airshows and tractor pulls.

Surviving is his wife of 18 years, Karen Dyrbala Taylor whom he married on July 3, 1992.  A son, Kyle Taylor of Amherst.  Two sisters and a brother in law: Shirley Harrell of Arkansas and Betty and John Lauppe of Texas.  A brother and sister in law: David and Michelle Taylor of Kansas. His mother and father in law: Barbara and Frank Dyrbala of Alexander.  He was the brother of the late Floyd Taylor.

Ken was a "gentle-man" and had a very deep and emotional love for his wife Karen and son Kyle. 

Friends may call Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, 2 BOGUE AVE., BATAVIA.    Services with full military honors will be Thursday at 10 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, Kansas.
