Earl K. Tatro

Batavia - Mr. Earl K. Tatro, 86, of Batavia, died Tuesday, (October 26,
2010) at home while under the care of Homecare and Hospice.

Mr. Tatro was born January 19, 1924 in Vergennes, Vermont, a son of the
late Leo and Phyllis (Hall) Tatro.

A veteran, he served with the United States Navy and was a stone crusher
at the former Genesee-LeRoy Stone in Stafford. Mr. Tatro enjoyed wood
crafting, making model ships and gardening.

Survivors include his children, Earlene (Louis) Howard of Stockdale,
Texas, Dannis Blanco of Atlanta, Georgia, William Blanco of Niagara Falls,
Gail Carpenter of Batavia, Sandra (Scott) Ohlson of East Bethany, Lavine
Scroger of Taylorsville, North Carolina, Bronco Blanco of Batavia, Jesse
(Julie) Blanco of Batavia and Angela Blanco of Batavia; 34 grandchildren;
39 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tatro is predeceased by his wife, Ardella Tatro and two brothers,
Arlyn Tatro and Leo Tatro Jr.

Calling hours are Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Oakfield United
Methodist Church, 2 South Main Street, Oakfield, where services will be at
10:00 a.m. also on Saturday. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery, Oakfield.
